Description

Grade II. Medieval and later, continuation of Nos 68, 68A. False timber-framing on painted rendering; old tile roof with band of fishscale tiles and serrated ridge. Two storeys, carriage entrance on right with gabled dormer in eaves above. Modern door and three plate glass windows to ground floor. First floor, 3-light on left, 2-light over door, 3-light on right, all casements. Interior: cruck truss visible in right hand gable wall (B1).
Cruck has curved blades truncated above collar, passing the collar but with no upper structure. Information from Roger Evans, Buckinghamshire CC (B3).
