Rear left hand room has good C18 dentil cornice, wooden fireplace surround, overmantel with Italian cherub figures (probably C19 copies) arched cupboard recesses each side with architraves, keyblocks and shaped shelves. First floor front left-hand room has original fireplace with chamfered stone jambs and oak lintel shaped into 4-centred arch. Rear left-hand room lined with re-used C17 oak panelling. Attic has exposed timbers including curved windbraces. (RCHM I p173 MON.7)(B1).
