Plan Form - CIRCULAR
ROMAN COINS WERE FOUND AT VARIOUS TIMES SINCE C.1892 IN FIELD (CENTRED AT NGR). 179 WERE EXAMINED. ALL BUT 3 WERE BRONZE; THEIR CHRONOLOGICAL DISTRIBUTION WAS SO WIDE & THEIR CONDITION SO WORN AS TO PRECLUDE THEIR BEING FROM A HOARD. TWO-THIRDS WERE OF C4 (MOSTLY AD 259-378)(B6-7).
