Description

GRADE II. PAIR OF GATE PIERS AND GATES. CIRCA 1909. FOR HUDSON EWBANKE KEARLEY, LORD DEVONPORT. PIERS ARE OF RED BRICK WITH MOULDED CAPS AND BALL FINIALS OF HAM STONE, THE RIGHT PIER WITH BALL FINIAL MISSING. STONE SCROLLS TO FLANKING SIDE PILASTERS. PAIR OF WROUGHT IRON GATES AND STANDARDS WITH SCROLL ORNAMENT AND CIPHERS HEK AND D. GATES ARE RAMPED DOWN IN FORM OF INVERTED ARCHED (B1).
