Description

Grade II+. 1873 by G E Street. Parish Church in knapped flint with stone dressings and plain tile roofs. Chancel in four narrow bays with single lancet set within blind arcade. Vestry to south. Nave of 4 bays with stepped triplets of lancets to north side and south aisle with paired lancets. North porch with brick infilled timber-framed gable. Bell-cote between nave and chancel. Stepped triplet of lancets to east end with hoodmould, west end with 2 lancets and centre buttress, quatrefoil to gable. North door moulded arch and cap with shaft. Interior has Street's fittings including low-stone chancel screen with quatrefoil frieze, pulpit with open tracery. Aisle arcade of two orders with moulded caps. Crown post roof with moulded caps to octagonal crown posts (B1).
