Description
Grade II. Early C18 altered; red brick, old hipped tile roof, moulded brick eaves. Door off centre, modern 3-light casement each side, two similar above and 2-light over door, all with cambered brick arches. One 3-light casement and elevations, small rear wing (B1).
The house at Stockings Farm was built c. 1690-1700. It replaced a large house, probably an improved medieval one, which in 1662/3 had six hearths. Social and economic history of previous house on the site (B2).
