Description

'ROMAN COINS & POTTERY FOUND AD 1929' AT NGR (B1).
LETTER RE ROMAN POTTERY & C.20 SMALL COINS FOUND IN ROAD WIDENING BY BCC. NO INDICATION OF HOUSE, BUT FLANGED ROOF TILE FOUND. PROPOSAL TO CUT TRENCHES N-S ACROSS SITE (B2). POTTERY, TILE, COINS FOUND IN BCM FROM 1929 EXCAVATIONS. PROBABLY A ROADSIDE SETTLEMENT (B3).
