Description

Grade II. Early C17 or earlier, altered. Timber framed, with C18 brick casing to part. Old tiled roof. Two storeys. Gabled wing on right has jettied upper floor with exposed joists ends and framing below, tile hanging above. C18 6-fielded panel door to left with old frame and leaded fanlight. Modern open porch. One 3-light leaded casements on left, with segmental arch, first floor band, two 3-light leaded casements to first floor with brick gables over. Exposed framing to left-hand gable and parts of rear elevation, covered with oak boards. Large lateral chimney, modern wing, and second chimney in gable end of cross wing. Interior: Exposed framing including chamfered ceiling beams, jowled posts and curved wind braces. Inserted staircase has C17 turned balusters (B1).
