Description

Grade II. Probably C16 or early C17, a fully aisled timber framed barn of seven bays with central hipped roofed cart entrances. Weatherboard walls, half hipped old tile roof. Lower extension to south-east end with brick wall on south west side, half hipped roof. Inside the frame in quite intact with massive jowled posts on brick plinths, curved braces to tiebeams and aisle plates, raking curved queen posts and curved windbraces to purlins, coupled rafter roof (B1).
