Description
QUANTITY OF BROKEN TILES & POTTERY FOUND NEAR ROAD ON MUSWELL HILL SEEMS TO POINT TO A VILLA THERE (B6).
POTSHERDS & TILES FOUND ON ROAD TO MUSWELL HILL, BUT NOTHING IS TRACEABLE ON THE SURFACE (B3).
AREA CENTRED AT NGR (B7).
(SP 641153) Roman sherds including pieces of tile with incised linear pattern have been found on Muswell Hill by Private Chittick. (B4)

Nothing visible on AP's (B11).
A Roman coin hoard is reported to have been found on Muswell Hill (a) and in 1972 the Museum was informed that lumps of slag, which may be Roman, has also been found at SP 644154 (B8).
