Description

Grade II. C19 front of red bricks, partly colour washed with Welsh slated roof. C19 and modern shop bay windows. 3 1st floor windows: 2 sashes with glazing bars and late C19 casement oriel bay. C18 back elevation of chequered brickwork with red stretchers, grey headers. Old tiled roof. Included for group value. Nos 2 to 20 (even) form a group (B1).
Nos 10 and 12 were formerly the Chequers Inn (also known as the Old Chequers), licensed in 1756 (B2).
