Description

Grade II. C17 timber framed range, with C18 brick infill and refronting to Nos 167-177. (Datestone on north wall inscribed 1798). Old tiled roof, two storeys. Plain doors (some modern) and one 3-light casement to each cottage except No 167 with two 2-light casements and central door, and No 189 with an additional 2-light casement. 13 first floor casements. Wing at east end, with No 165, timber framed, two storeys. Timber framed west gable to No 189. Picturesque rear elevation with dormers, hipped and gabled wings, old at Nos 185-9, modern in centre (B1).
