Description

Grade II. C17 or earlier, refaced C18 and C19. Red brick front, concealing timber framework with brick nogging. 2 storeys and attics, 2 wide 4 light casement windows, 2 dormers. 3 large chimney stacks. Timber frame exposed at side. RCHM Bucks, I, p95 (B1).
Freestanding pub sign featuring a large golden ball survives in front of the building. Timber framing visible at rear of building (B2).
The inn closed in 1985 and now serves as offices (B3).
