Description

Grade II+. Late mediaeval with alterations. C16. Whitewashed pebbledash, old tiled roof with end gablets. 4 bays with 1 bay additions either end. Originally a single storey hall house, now 2 storeys with C16 or early C17 central chimneystack. Interior: 2 bressumers to ground floor. 4 main casement windows with glazing bars, pointed arched lights. Timber frame has large tie beams with curved braces, roof truss wind braces. Modern ground floor bay window in keeping on left (B1).
