Description
Grade II. C17 or earlier timber-framed barn of 4 bays. Weatherboarding, old tiled roof. 2 cross bays. Tie beam roof truss on curved struts. Sloeland Farmhouse, granary and barn form a group (B1).
2 Barns, at Hall farm. The western barn is of timber with brick infill, part brick, weatherboarding and flint. One to two storeys with a tiled roof. At the time that the building was photographed, in 1989, it was undergoing conversion to living accomodation. The other barn is of one storey, constructed of flint with brick dressings and quoins, with weather boarded gables, and a tiled roof. The date of the buildings appears to be 18th to 19th century (B2).
