Grade II. C17 altered. Red brick ground floor, timber framed first floor with brick panels, old tile roof. Door on left, with modern hood, 1-light and 4-light modern leaded casement on right. Two gabled dormers with 2-light leaded casements. One storey wing on left with two 2-light casements, tiled roof. Large offset brick stack on right (B1).
This 1 1/2 storey house was extended at the back in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; before that it was a two-room house with a single gable-end stack. The heated hall/kitchen measured 12' 3" x 11' 3" (3.76 x 3.46 m), the unheated parlour 9' x 11' 3" (2.76 x 3.46 m). It stands on the site of an older house, which in 1574 was owned by Roger Hill and let to Henry Wheeler. Christopher Clark of 'The Rosary' (CAS 1245080000), probably built the present house after getting vacant possession in 1611. After 1611 the occupants of the house are unknown.
