Description

Grade II. House, now subdivided and enlarged to west. C17 and 1738. Timber framed, brick refronting and flank; red stretches and grey or vitrified headers. Rear timber framing exposed with brick infill. Old tile roofs. Three bays with taller left hand addition, formerly a separate cottage, now part of the Old Post House. Two storeys. 1738 refronting has three light casements and two doors between left hand bay under lean-to porch. Date stone over doors 'WSM 1738'. Early C20 rear addition. Left hand bay later brick front, roughcast and timber framed behind (B1).
