Description

Grade II. Farmhouse. Circa 1690, but some evidence of earlier house of C17. Red brick with dark headers. Fragments of timber framing at rear. Old tile roof. Two wide bays, two storeys. Flint plinth with brick dressings. Centre door in gabled modern porch in front of stack. Three light casements and blocked outer windows. Band course. Similar first floor windows, except 2-light one over entry. Moulded painted eaves. Centre stack of three staggered flues with moulded cape. Dated on north gable in vitrified header bricks '169..' (last figure obscured) (B1).
