Description

Grade II. Cottage. C17 altered and extended. Timberframe, with red brick infill and refacing. Old tiled roof. Gateway Cottage has two storeys. South west elevation with modern door, one 3-light and two 2-light casements, two 3-light casements to first floor. 1-storey wing on left with timber framing exposed in gable. Large offset chimney at north east end of main cottage. Tudor Cottage is formed from a 1-storey and attic north east wing, with a modern wing to the north west. Rendered and painted, old tiled roof, modern casements. RCHM I p 191 MON 4 (B1).
