Description

Grade II. House. C17 altered. Timer framed, encased in brick, mostly roughcast rendered, colourwashed. Old tiled roof, chimney stack in centre and on left hand gable. Two storeys, first floor stringcourse, stepped up over central ground floor 2-light wood casement replacing door. C19 3-light cast iron casement each side, two similar 2-light casements to first floor, with modern 2-light wood casement in centre. Lower wing on right linking with small C19 barn, weatherboarded with tiled roof, modern windows. Interior: large central chimney with inglenook fireplace, large first floor beams, timber framing of rear wall and original couple- rafter roof. Modern addition at rear. RCHM I p 99 MON 33 (B1).
