Description

Grade II. Brick walls and gatepiers surrounding courtyard. c.1910 by Forbes and Tate. The public road crosses the courtyard, through two sets of tall circular brick piers with courses of cogged bricks at intervals. A third set of similar piers in the north wall. High brick walls unite the piers with the house and small barn [CAS 12403] with a cogged brick eaves, wide overhanging tiled capping and brick coping (B1).
