Description

Grade II. Small house. C17 probably originally timber framed, cased in C18 brick, now mostly colourwashed. Old tile roof, continued down over lean-to on south side. Old chimney stack in centre. Two storeys and attic. Gable elevation to road has two 2-light cast iron windows with segmental arch heads to ground and first floors, one 2-light wooden attic window. Left hand flank elevation has one similar cast iron window to each floor and an early C20 canted bay window on right with tiled roof and leaded glazing. Slightly projecting bay on left with one 3-light leaded casement with segmental arch to each floor. Right hand flank elevation has door and one 3-light leaded window. Interior: large inglenook foreplaces to central stack (B1).
