Description

Grade II. House. Circa 1800. Vitreous header brick with vertical strips of red brick. Plinth and lower walls also mostly of red brick. First floor band course, dentil eaves. Hipped old tile roof, 2 symmetrical brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Original 3-light leaded casements, with segmental heads. Central 6-panelled door with similar head and gabled timber porch. Brick wall around small front garden is attached to front righthand corner (B5).
Ixhill Farm was probably part of the royal demesne meadow & forest from C12-C17 (B3).
