Description

GRADE II. C17 AND LATER, REFRONTED. COLOURWASHED ROUGH-CAST RENDERING; OLD TILE ROOF. PARTLY ONE STOREY AND ATTIC PARTLY 2 STOREYS. ONE STOREY SECTION HAS A GABLED DORMER RISING THROUGH EAVES. TWO-STOREY SECTION HAS ONE SLIDING CASEMENT WITH CAMBERED RELIEVING ARCH. PANEL WITH NAME RUNS FULL LENGTH OF BUILDING AT FIRST FLOOR LEVEL. GROUND FLOOR WITH DOOR, 2 FIXED WINDOWS WITH LEADED LIGHTS IN WHICH 'PARLOUR' ON ONE, 'TAPROOM' ON OTHER, AND A CARRIAGE ENTRANCE WITH BOARD DOORS. THE BAR WINDOWS WITH THEIR SHUTTERS WITH ARTS AND CRAFTS DETAILING CONSISTENT WITH THE DATE 1907 ON RAINWATER HEADS (B1).
