Description

Grade II. House. c.1830. Flemish bond brick; hipped old plain tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Wrought- iron brackets to flat hood over 6-panelled (2 glazed) door with a moulded wood architrave. Ground floor cambered brick arches and first floor timber lintels over 24-pane sashes. Dentilled brick eaves. Similar sashes to sides and rear, including two 16-pane ground floor sashes with Gothic-arched heads to left side wall. Canted 2-storey bay of c.1985 added to rear. Interior: panelled doors and shutters; simple wood fireplace to rear left; plain straight-flight staircase; C17 ribbed first floor doors (B1).
