Description

Grade II. Former school. Date plaque 1844 over door on left. Red brick, blue headers; old tile roof. One storey. Road front with 3 gables, with barge-boards. In each gable, 3 lancets. On the right hand return a date plaque 1869 identical in style to that reading 1844 (B1).
The School was built in 1844, on a site given by the Lord of the Manor. It is a neat little building, of brick, and cost about £130. About 30 children attend it [1862] (B2).
