Description

Grade II. Formerly part of Westalls Farm buildings as marked on Tithe Schedule 1839. C19 cottage and 2 bays of long barn abutting now form one building. Possibly on older foundations. Much altered and with modern additions. Cottage colour-washed brick; hand made tile roof. Two storeys. First floor windows set in brick gables that break into roof. Modillion eaves cornice continued up sides of gables. Windows are double-hung sashes with cambered relieving arches and set-in reveals; glazing bars. South front has modern timber bay window. Barn with 2 queen post trusses (B1).
