Description

Grade II. Pair of cottages. 1855. Brick, cement rendered. Colourwashed; hand-made tile roof. Date plaques on small shields, '18' on No 18 and '55' on No 16. T-plan. Projecting central portion has 2 gables and a central downpipe with battle- mented hopper. Ground floor with 2 fixed 2-light windows. First floor with two 2-light casements. East and west arms each have a door beneath a tile-hung gabled hood on wooden brackets and on first floor one 2-light casement. At end of each arm a 3-light bay window (B1).
