Located approximately 670m south of the village Thornborough and centred at SP 74159 33062. The mound is on the south side of the village, approximately 2km south of the remaining windmill, near Thornborough mill on the River Great Ouse, where part of the structure of a windmill remains (see MBC6096). It overlies ridge and furrow earthworks and is at the southern end of a sinuous trackway from the village, near the manor house. It is subrectangular with a small hollow at the centre and measures approximately 22x19m. This windmill is not shown on the 1813 Ordnance Surveyors’ Drawing of Winslow. (3-6)
