Description
Grade II. Early C18. Red brick; old tile hipped roof behind parapet. Three storeys. First and second floors with 5 sashes. All windows set flush and with segmental heads and glazing bars. Moulded brick stringcourse above first floor windows. Ground floor with central door within Tuscan pedimented doorcase and, on each side, a modern bay window. One room on ground floor has panelling with recesses and a fireplace contemporary with the house and dated 1711. Attached to the house on the left and now incorporated into the house itself a C16 barn much restored and converted. Timber-framed; brick nogging old tile roof. Three bays with central gabled former waggon entrance of 2 storeys with roof sweeping down to one storey at either side. On the left, coverted C19 stable. Red brick; old tile roof. Central door with hay-loft entrance over. On each side one 2-light modern casement window (B1).
