Description
Grade II. Mid C18. Red brick; machine tile hipped roof with modillion corbelled cornice. Three storeys. Second floor with 2 square sashes. First floor with 3 sashes, central one with semicircular arch. Ground floor with central door in timber doorcase with broken pediment and, on each side, one sash. All windows with glazing bars (B1).
York House was formerly part of Wiggenton Farm and later the Star Inn. [1860s photo](B2).
