Description

Grade II. House. C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with brick infill; early/mid C18 brick cladding, including some C17 brick, to west wall; render over brick to south gable and part of east wall. Gabled old tile roof; lateral brick stacks to each side. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. South gable has C20 two-light casements to each floor. C20 half-glazed door to single-storey lean-to, possibly of C17 date, on east side. C20 two-light casements to rear gable, with glazing bars to ground floor. Interior: exposed timber framing, set in square panels, to both floors; C17 beams and central timber-framed partition; diagonal bracing and jointed storey posts to 2-bay roof with windbraces, clasped purlins, and central queen-post truss (B1).
