Description

Grade II. C17-18. 2 storeys and attic. Vitreous brick with red dressings. Projecting plinth with moulded capping. Moulded brick eaves cornice. Old tile roof. Some timber framing at back and sides. Nos 17 and 21 each have one dormer, 2 windows, of various dates including late C17 4-light mullioned and transomed casement to No 17. Each has a 4-panel door. No 23 originally 2 houses - now has 2 dormers, 4 windows with architrave frames on 1st floor, 2 similar windows on ground floor and 4-panel door to right hand. Similar doorway to left hand blocked. Interiors have moulded ceiling beams and joists, with fireplaces with chamfered lintels and oak staircases. (There is no No 19). Nos 7 to 23 (odd) form a group (B1).
