Description

Dimensions - Depth/Thickness 150cm.
Visit to site where RB sherds found locates pottery spread from recut ditch on W side of bridleway. Ditch or pit seen at one point. A J Fleming collects shelly & sandy ware sherds from recut ditch (B1).
Pottery spread from recut ditch located. C1-C2 pottery including 5 rims, & 1 samian piece. No tile (B2).
K Reading finds more pottery including ?Belgic (B3).
Area extends further W. 6 rims, pie dish, & mortarium sherds found (B4).
D G Shelley finds more sherds including colour coat & jars (B5).
