Description

Grade II. House, now offices. Early C19, extended C20. Yellow brick in Flemish bond with hipped slate roof, and brick lateral stack to left. Double-depth plan. 2-storey 2-window range with C20 1-bay extension. Front has 2 basement windows with 2-light casements and cambered arched heads. 16-pane sash windows to ground and 1st floors, all with flat-arched heads; those to ground floor rendered. Left side elevation has central 6-panel door with ornamental overlight, panelled reveals and moulded wood surround, approached by 2 York stone steps, in open porch. Porch has fluted Roman Doric columns to front on rendered plinths, pilasters to match innermost, triglyph frieze and deep cornice with mutules. 12-pane sash window to 1st floor above door. 2-storey, 1-window C20 extension to right. INTERIOR has dogleg stair with stick balusters and ramped and wreathed mahogany handrail (B1).
