Description
Grade II. Shop and dwelling, now hotel accommodation. Mid-late C18, altered C19 and C20. Rendered over brick with incised masonry patterns, concealed plain-tile roof with valley, and brick end stack. Double-depth plan. 3-storey, 5-window range. Pilastered wood shop front to left of centre, C19 altered C20. 12-pane sash windows to ground floor right of centre with moulded rendered surrounds. Similar windows to 1st and 2nd floors of diminishing height. Rectangular blank sunk panels above 2nd-floor windows directly below cornice. Rendered plinth, channelled rustication to pilaster strips either end of ground floor, rusticated quoins to upper floors. Sill bands to 1st and 2nd floors. Moulded cornice and low blocking cornice above concealing roof (B2).
