Description

Grade II. House, now pair of cottages. Mid-late C18, with older origins. Red brick in Flemish bond with plain-tile roof and brick end stack. 2 storeys and attics; ? Window range. 6-panel part-glazed door to left of centre with moulded wood surround, rosettes to top angles and thin straight hood, C20 door to right of centre with flat-arched head. 20-pane sash window to ground floor right with wood lintel, tripartite sash window to ground floor left with flat-arched head. 12-pane sash to 1st floor right, 2-light casement window to right of centre and 3-light casement to 1st floor left. Wave-moulded plinth with cellar window to left, dentilled brick eaves to right of centre, wave-moulded and stepped brick eaves to left of centre. Pair of hipped roof dormer windows to left of centre with 2-light casements. INTERIOR: No.14 has chamfered spine beam and mid-C18 wood chimneypieces with eared surround, thin pulvinated frieze and dentilled cornice. Fitted corner cupboard with shaped shelves. Collar truss roof (B1).
