Description

Grade II. Group of 3 terrace houses. Dated 1831 with some C20 alterations. Red brick in Flemish bond with some flared headers, hipped slate roof, brick ridge stacks. 3-storey, 2-window range to Bristle Hill. 6-panel doors to Nos 8 & 10, C20 door to No.9, all with slightly cambered arched heads. 3-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors and 2-light casements to 2nd floor, all with cambered arched heads. No.8 has rounded end where Bristle Hill meets School Lane with 20-pane curved window to ground floor, 16-pane curved sash window to 1st floor and similar 12-pane sash to 2nd floor. Rest of windows to No.8 face School Lane to rear and have 16-pane sashes to ground, 1st and 2nd floors with cambered arched heads. Back door with similar head and datestone above at 2nd-floor level sunk in chamfered brick surround. Cogged brick eaves (B1).
