Description

Grade II. Pair of cottages. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Red brick, rendered to No.3 with incised masonry patterns, plain-tile roofs, and brick end stacks. One-unit plans. 2-storey, 2-window range. Doors to left and right of centre, that to right (No.3) 4-panelled and part-glazed, C20 to left (No.4). 3-light casement windows to ground floor, that to left with segmental-arched head, that to right C20 with moulded wood surround. 2-light casements to 1st floor with segmental-arched heads. Each house has a flat-roofed roof dormer window. C20 extensions to rear. INTERIOR: both have chamfered spine beams to ground floor. No.4 has chamfered spine beam in elm to 1st floor and purlin roof (B1).
