Description

Grade II. House. 2 bays to right are early C17, later C17 bays in range to left. Timber frame with whitewashed brick and plaster infill, the ground floor mostly rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Old tile roof, half-hipped to left. C19-C20 brick chimney between left bays, C17 chimney with grouped shafts of thin brick, rebuilt, between right bays. Latter has whitewashed rubblestone projection for oven below. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the right bay gabled and projecting. Paired barred wooden casements. Entrance in C20 half-timbered wing to rear. Interior shows curved braces and wind-braces. Ground floor room of cross wing has cross beams and stop-chamfered joists (B1).
