OUTER ENCLOSURE, SURROUNDING MOAT, CONSISTS OF BANK & EXTERNAL DITCH. ORIGINAL ENTRANCE PROBABLY ON SE CORNER: ?ROADWAY LEADING TO EAST BURNHAM. GROUND WITHIN ENCLOSURE VERY DISTURBED & NO FEATURES VISIBLE. PROBABLY USED TO PROTECT CULTIVATED AREA FROM THE WOODLAND ANIMALS - DEER & PIGS (B5).
