Description
Grade II. Barn, wall and outbuilding, formerly a stable. Barn, to N. of farmyard, is mid C18, of timber frame and weatherboard with concrete block plinth and corrugated iron roof. 4 bays, off-centre waggon entry, double queen strut trusses and purlins. C20 lean-to at W. end. Attached to this, and running along W. side of farmyard is a C18-early C19 wall of rubble stone with small early C19 stable, at S. end. Stable is of rubble stone with slate roof and has openings to ground floor and hayloft. Remainder of wall has C20 cartshed roof attached to farmyard side (B1).
