Description

Grade II. Pair of houses. Early C19, probably incorporating core of C17-C18 building to left, all with late C19-C20 casements. Chequer brick with pale vitreous headers, brick plinth and dentil eaves. Old tile roofs, chimney with grouped shafts of C18 brick between left bays, another brick chimney to right. 2 storeys and attic, 4 main bays, the left lower. Ground floor has irregular 2 and 3-light wooden casements with segmental heads. First floor has canted oriel windows on brackets. 2 flush-panelled doors with adjacent single casements to right of centre. Attic casement in right gable. Included for group value (B1).
Surving pair of crucks in first floor room of No 30, against party wall with No 31 (B2).
