Description
Grade II. House. C17, altered 1899 as dated on rainwater heads. Colourwashed roughcast, C19-C20 tile roof. Chimneys of thin brick with square shafts set diagonally on rendered bases, the chimney between left bays with 4 shafts, another to rear with 2. 2 storeys and attic, 3 main bays. Upper floor has 3 sash windows,the left with small gable above, the right sashes flanking a paired wooden casement. Another sash to ground floor right. Above casement is a gable; below is a C19 rendered porch with moulded parapet and drip-mould over door and 2 leaded windows. Rustic verandah to ground floor left. 2 hipped attic dormers with paired leaded lights. Interior much altered but retains some timber framing, moulded stone fireplaces with 4-centred arches, and a C17 back staircase with chunky turned balusters and moulded handrail.
