Description
Grade II. Pair of houses. C17th with traces of earlier building, altered. 4 bays to the left are roughcast and whitewashed, 2 bays to the right of thin brick with rendered plinth. Old tile roofs, C17th brick chimney with grouped shafts to centre of no. 1, C20th brick chimney to right. One storey and attic, 6 bays. Upper windows are in gabled eaves-line dormers. No.1, to the left, has 4 bays of irregular wooden casements. No.5 has 2 bays with C20th 4-pane sashes to the ground floor and wide 2-light barred wooden casements above. C20th board door between the left bays, C20th panelled door between right bays. Ground floor openings to no. 5 has remains of cruck truss between right bays (B1).
