Description

Grade II. Pair of cottages. C17, altered. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and rendered plinth. Left gable rebuilt in whitewashed brick. C20 tile roof, half-hipped to left. Later brick chimney to rear. 1½ storeys, 2 wide bays. 3-light barred wooden casements to ground floor, similar 2-light casement in left bay below eaves, 3-light wooden casement in semi-dormer to right. Both bays have C20 doors to right. RCHM II p. 328 Mon.14 (B1).
