Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered. Left bay and lower walls of gables are of coursed rubble stone; remainder has timber frame, mostly renewed, with brick infill. Tiled roof, brick chimneys to left and between right bays, 2 storeys, 3 bays. Irregular C20 wooden casements, those to ground floor retaining old moulded wooden cornices. C20 door between left bays has flanking single lights and similar cornice. Left gable has 3-light window to first floor with open moulded brick pediment above. Slight projection to rear has beam resting on stone carved head corbel. This projection has C20 single storey brick extension along side of churchyard. RCHM II p. 325 Mon. 3 (B1).
