Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered. Timber frame with brick infill and rendered plinth to front, rear wall of colourwashed brick and rubble stone. Thatched roof, brick chimneys to gables and between left bays. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Left bay has paired wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, the upper window partly in thatch. Right-hand bays have irregular C20 2-light leaded casements and C20 door between with board hood on shaped wooden brackets. Brick lean-to to left, another to right partly rubble stone. Rear has raised eaves. RCHM II p. 329-330 Mon. 23 (B1).
