Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered and extended. Centre bay has timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and rubble stone plinth. Projecting bay to right has ground floor of colourwashed rubble stone, and timber frame above with similar brick and plaster infill. Left bay is C19 extension of colourwashed brick and tiled roof. Remainder thatched with hip over projection and 3 small brick chimneys. Centre bay is of one storey and attic, the upper window in dormer with tiled apron. Remainder is of 2 storeys. Irregular casements, some with C20 diamond leading. C20 door in left bay with lean-to timber porch. RCHM p. 314 Mon. 7 (B1).
