Description

INSERTION OF TRAPDOOR TO ROOF SPACE ABOVE E RANGE LED TO DISCOVERY OF WALL PAINTING FRAGMENT BETWEEN OLD CEILING LEVEL & LOWERED 1914 CEILING. DESIGN CONSISTS OF 2 DECORATED BORDERS FRAMING PANELS IN ROOM BELOW. DATED TO LATE C17. POSSIBLE THAT PANELS CONTAINED BIBLICAL EXTRACTS, THEN FASHIONABLE (B21).
